Cursor Setup
Set up Cursor IDE to use the platform as an AI provider.
Prerequisites
- Cursor IDE installed (version 0.45 or later recommended).
- An API key from the platform — get one here.
Configuration Steps
- Open Cursor and go to Settings → Models (or press
Cmd+Shift+J/Ctrl+Shift+J). - Under OpenAI API Key, either:
- Paste your API key directly — but also override the Base URL in step 3, or
- Leave it blank and configure everything through the custom provider section below.
- Scroll down to OpenAI-compatible Providers and click + Add Provider.
- Fill in:
- Name: A label (e.g., “My API Proxy”).
- Base URL:
http://localhost:3000/api/v1 - API Key:
sk-YOUR_KEY_HERE
- Click Verify (if available) or simply close settings — Cursor will use this provider.
Using the Platform in Cursor
Once configured, open the AI panel (Cmd+K / Ctrl+K for inline edits, Cmd+L / Ctrl+L for chat). Select your provider from the model dropdown and start coding.
Note: If you use the Aggregated key type, Anthropic models (Claude) may not appear in Cursor’s model list. Use a General key for broader model access in Cursor.
